Dr. Simon Bérubé, MD

Dr. Simon Bérubé earned his medical degree from the Université de Sherbrooke in 1999. He completed his residency in internal medicine and cardiology at hospitals affiliated with the Université de Sherbrooke, finishing in 2006. He then pursued an additional year of specialized training in interventional cardiology at the Montreal Heart Institute.

Since 2006, Dr. Bérubé has served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Cardiology at the Université de Sherbrooke. An active member of the cardiology and interventional cardiology teams at the CHUS, he has also been responsible for supervising internal medicine externs since 2008.

Dr. Bérubé is renowned for his expertise in managing coronary artery disease and structural heart conditions. He specializes in treating aortic stenosis using innovative percutaneous approaches, such as transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVI).

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Bérubé is actively involved in clinical research. He oversees studies on new therapies and treatments in cardiology and contributes to publications in peer-reviewed medical journals. His commitment to research ensures he remains at the forefront of advancements in his field, providing his patients with treatments informed by the latest innovations.
