About Lyne Bérubé

Dr. Lyne Bérubé completed her medical studies and residency in internal medicine and cardiology at the Université de Montréal between 1991 and 1996. In 2003, she pursued postdoctoral training in stress echocardiography at the Hôpital de Créteil in Paris, France, further solidifying her expertise in this specialized field.

After practicing for five years at Hôpital du Sacré-Cœur, she joined the CHUM in 2009. From 2010 to 2018, she served as the head of the cardiac echography laboratory, where she made significant contributions to advancing non-invasive diagnostic techniques.

Since 2009, Dr. Bérubé has also been an examiner for the cardiology certification exam of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, reflecting her commitment to academic excellence and the evaluation of future specialists.

Deeply engaged with her community and attuned to the unique cardiovascular health challenges faced by women, she co-founded CardioF, the first Quebec-based center of expertise dedicated to women’s cardiovascular health, located at the CHUM. This initiative highlights her dedication to improving the prevention and management of heart disease in this often underrepresented population.
