Graduating in medicine in 1989 from the University of Sherbrooke, she obtained her specialist certification in cardiology in 1994. She pursued additional training from 1994 to 1997, including one year in echocardiography, one year in pediatric cardiology, and one year in adult congenital cardiology at the Royal Brompton Hospital in London, England.
An active member of the Montreal Heart Institute (MHI) since 1997, she is also an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Medicine at the University of Montreal. She was the Director of Education from 2004 to 2016.
In the clinic, she contributes to the development and outreach of the Adult Congenital Heart Disease Center.
