Dr. Vu-Hung Quan earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Université de Sherbrooke, followed by a cardiology residency at the Université de Montréal. He later pursued a subspecialization in interventional cardiology.
He honed his skills at the Montreal Heart Institute for one year before advancing to specialized training at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, affiliated with Harvard University in Boston. Additionally, he completed a postdoctoral research fellowship at the Harvard-MIT Biomedical Engineering Center.
An active member of the CHUM since 2004, Dr. Quan practices general cardiology while focusing on coronary intervention, particularly the integration of new technologies.
From 2004 to 2024, he also served as an associate member at the Jean-Talon Hospital, where he was the Head of the Cardiology Department from 2007 to 2016.
As a Clinical Assistant Professor, Dr. Quan is actively involved in numerous clinical research projects at the CHUM Research Center (CR-CHUM), contributing to advancements in cardiology.
