Graduated in Nutrition from the Faculty of Medicine, Université de Montréal (2015), Shiana Vaillancourt is a member of the Ordre des diététistes-nutritionnistes du Québec (ODNQ), which ensures the competence and quality of nutrition services in Quebec.
Professional Experience
Since 2014, Shiana Vaillancourt has practiced clinical nutrition in both public and private healthcare settings. She has developed expertise in general medicine, supporting patients with a wide range of health conditions, particularly those related to chronic and cardiometabolic diseases.
She also contributed to the Axis Center, where she designed and implemented the initial nutrition program, promoting an integrated and interdisciplinary approach to care. This experience highlighted the importance of teamwork among health professionals to optimize patient outcomes. (She is no longer practicing at Axis.)
In her clinical work, Shiana emphasizes a personalized and educational approach. She focuses on prevention, sustainable lifestyle changes, and therapeutic adherence, with the goal of improving her patients’ overall health and quality of life.
