Dr. Paul Ayoub obtained his medical degree from Université Laval in 1999. He then completed his training in internal medicine at Université de Montréal in 2002, followed by a specialization in nephrology at the same institution in 2004.
Clinical Practice Dr. Ayoub is a nephrologist at Hôpital de Verdun in Montreal, where he carries out most of his clinical work. He is also an associate member of the CMDP at Centre hospitalier Anna-Laberge, as well as at Centre hospitalier de Bathurst.
He cares for patients with acute and chronic kidney diseases, including kidney failure, electrolyte disorders, and their associated complications. He is also involved in the management of patients requiring renal replacement therapies such as hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis.
Teaching and Academic Involvement Dr. Ayoub is a Clinical Lecturer at Université de Montréal. In this role, he actively contributes to the training of medical students and residents.
Areas of Interest His main areas of interest include hypertension, kidney diseases, toxicology, and electrolyte disorders.
Professional Involvement Dr. Ayoub serves on the board of directors of the Société urbaine de l’Hôpital de Verdun. He is also the author of numerous publications in scientific journals.
Clinical Approach In his practice, he adopts a comprehensive, patient-centered approach aimed at optimizing the management of kidney diseases and improving patients’ quality of life.
