Medical and Specialized Training
Dr. Kevin Haddad obtained his Doctor of Medicine (MD) in 2019 from the Université de Montréal. He then completed a residency in internal medicine at the same university from 2019 to 2022, followed by a cardiology specialization from 2022 to 2025.
He is currently completing a fellowship in hemodynamics at Columbia University (New York Presbyterian / Columbia University Irving Medical Center).
In 2024, he also completed additional training in the Clinical Effectiveness Program at Harvard University, as part of a summer program focused on clinical research and epidemiology.
Clinical Activities and Future Practice
Dr. Haddad plans to return to the Centre hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal (CHUM) as an interventional cardiologist upon completion of his fellowship, around 2027–2028.

Academic Involvement and Teaching
Deeply committed to medical education, Dr. Haddad serves as a teaching assistant for the Heart and Circulation course (MMD 1109 / MMD 2229) at the Université de Montréal (2023–2025).
He presents the clinical reasoning course and contributes to the revision of the new MD curriculum at the Faculty of Medicine.
Dr. Kevin Haddad stands out for his remarkable involvement in the cardiology community in Quebec and across Canada. He holds several leadership and scientific collaboration roles in both education and research. He currently serves as chief cardiology resident at the CHUM, scientific reviewer for the Canadian Journal of Cardiology, and head of the research stream for the Canadian Cardiovascular Congress (CCC) trainees committee.
He is also an active member of various committees within the Canadian Cardiovascular Society (CCS) and the Association des cardiologues du Québec (ACQ), contributing to medical education, knowledge dissemination, and the continuous improvement of cardiology practice.

Dr. Haddad is strongly committed to the training of future cardiologists, the promotion of clinical research, and the integration of innovative technologies to benefit patients. His path reflects a deep dedication to scientific rigor, improvement of interventional practices, and interuniversity collaboration in cardiovascular medicine.

Engagement académique et enseignement
Très impliqué dans la formation médicale, le Dr Haddad agit comme auxiliaire d’enseignement au cours Cœur et circulation (MMD 1109 / MMD 2229) à l’Université de Montréal (2023–2025).
Il y assure la présentation du cours de raisonnement clinique et participe à la révision du nouveau curriculum du programme de médecine.
Le Dr Kevin Haddad se distingue par un engagement remarquable au sein de la communauté cardiologique québécoise et canadienne. Il occupe plusieurs rôles de leadership et de collaboration scientifique, tant en enseignement qu’en recherche. Il agit notamment comme résident-coordonnateur en cardiologie au CHUM, réviseur pour le Canadian Journal of Cardiology et responsable de la filière de recherche au Congrès canadien sur la santé cardiovasculaire. Il participe également à divers comités de la Société canadienne de cardiologie et de l’Association des cardiologues du Québec, contribuant activement à la formation, à la diffusion du savoir et à l’amélioration continue des pratiques en cardiologie.
