Flying Carpet Shrimp (20 pieces)

A simple, tasty, and heart-healthy recipe—perfect for adding variety to your meals. Light and protein-rich, these spiced marinated shrimp are quick to prepare and cook in just minutes.

Ingredients :

  • 20 wild shrimp, peeled and deveined (keep the tails if possible)
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 piece of ginger (about the size of a walnut)
  • 30 ml (2 tbsp) olive oil
  • 10 ml (2 tsp) chili powder
  • 10 ml (2 tsp) paprika
  • Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper

Preparation :

Finely chop the garlic and ginger.
In a bowl, combine the shrimp with the garlic, ginger, spices, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for a few hours.

Tip: If wild shrimp, such as those from Mexico, are purchased whole, the heads can be used to prepare a delicious homemade broth. stock.
