En otras palabras, cuanto mejor sea tu condici\u00f3n f\u00edsica, m\u00e1s protegido estar\u00e1 tu coraz\u00f3n.<\/p><p>Por ejemplo, las actividades cotidianas de autocuidado exigen menos de 5 METs, mientras que un jugador de tenis de alto nivel puede superar los 20 durante un partido.<\/p><p>En una prueba de esfuerzo (examen en cinta ergom\u00e9trica), el profesional de la salud mide no solo la frecuencia card\u00edaca alcanzada, sino tambi\u00e9n el n\u00famero de METs logrados.
