He completed this subspecialty training in 2014.<\/p><p>In parallel with his clinical training, he earned a Master of Science (SM) in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health in 2013. He also completed additional training in decision analysis and cost-effectiveness evaluation of medical interventions at Harvard\u2019s Center for Health Decision Science and at Brigham and Women\u2019s Hospital in Boston.<\/p><p><strong>Academic Appointments and Leadership Roles<\/strong><\/p><p>Dr. Potter is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Medicine at the Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al.<\/p><p>At the Centre hospitalier de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al (CHUM), he holds several leadership positions:<\/p><ul><li>Director of the Percutaneous Heart Failure Interventions Program;<\/li><li>Co-Director of the Complex High-Risk Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (CHIP) Program;<\/li><li>Director of Cardiac Intensive Care Research and Quality Improvement;<\/li><li>Principal Scientist at the CHUM Health Innovation and Evaluation Hub.<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><strong>Clinical Practice<\/strong><\/p><p>Dr. Potter has been practicing as an interventional cardiologist at the CHUM Cardiovascular Center since 2014.<\/p><p>His clinical practice focuses primarily on complex coronary interventions, mechanical circulatory support devices, acute cardiac care, and percutaneous interventions for patients with advanced heart failure.<\/p><p><strong>Clinical and Research Interests<\/strong><\/p><p>Dr. Potter\u2019s clinical and scientific activities focus primarily on the optimization of cardiovascular resources and therapies, particularly in the fields of acute cardiac care, interventional cardiology, and heart failure. His research expertise includes clinical studies, retrospective analyses, decision science, and cost-effectiveness evaluation applied to cardiovascular medicine. An active researcher, he is the author or co-author of numerous scientific publications in these areas.<\/p><p>His principal areas of interest include:<\/p><ul><li>percutaneous interventions for chronic and acute heart failure;<\/li><li>management of cardiogenic shock and hemodynamic support devices;<\/li><li>long-term ventricular assist devices;<\/li><li>complex and high-risk coronary interventions;<\/li><li>quality improvement in interventional cardiology;<\/li><li>health technology assessment;<\/li><li>clinical epidemiology and pharmacoepidemiology;<\/li><li>mobile
