He then completed a residency in internal medicine at the same university from 2019 to 2022, followed by a cardiology specialization from 2022 to 2025.<\/p><p>He is currently completing a fellowship in hemodynamics at Columbia University (New York Presbyterian \/ Columbia University Irving Medical Center).<\/p><p>In 2024, he also completed additional training in the Clinical Effectiveness Program at Harvard University, as part of a summer program focused on clinical research and epidemiology.<\/p><p><strong>Clinical Activities and Future Practice<\/strong><\/p><p>Dr. Haddad plans to return to the Centre hospitalier de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al (CHUM) as an interventional cardiologist upon completion of his fellowship, around 2027\u20132028.<\/p><p>His <strong>clinical interests<\/strong> include:<\/p><ul><li>complex and high-risk coronary procedures, including CTOs,<\/li><li>the pharmacology of acute coronary syndromes (ACS),<\/li><li>invasive coronary imaging,<\/li><li>technology and innovation in the cardiac catheterization laboratory,<\/li><li>mechanical circulatory support,<\/li><li>and clinical and epidemiological research applied to cardiovascular diseases.<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><strong>Academic Involvement and Teaching<\/strong><\/p><p>Deeply committed to medical education, Dr. Haddad serves as a teaching assistant for the <em>Heart and Circulation<\/em> course (MMD 1109 \/ MMD 2229) at the Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al (2023\u20132025).<br \/>He presents the clinical reasoning course and contributes to the revision of the new MD curriculum at the Faculty of Medicine.<\/p><p>Dr. Kevin Haddad stands out for his remarkable involvement in the cardiology community in Quebec and across Canada. He holds several leadership and scientific collaboration roles in both education and research. He currently serves as chief cardiology resident at the CHUM, scientific reviewer for the <em>Canadian Journal of Cardiology<\/em>, and head of the research stream for the <em>Canadian Cardiovascular Congress (CCC)<\/em> trainees committee.<\/p><p>He is also an active member of various committees within the Canadian Cardiovascular Society (CCS) and the Association des cardiologues du Qu\u00e9bec (ACQ), contributing to medical education, knowledge dissemination, and the continuous improvement of cardiology practice.<\/p><p><strong>Vision<\/strong><\/p><p>Dr. Haddad is strongly committed to the training of future cardiologists, the promotion of clinical research, and the integration of innovative technologies to benefit patients.
