    Dr. Jean Verreault is a specialist in nuclear medicine practicing at the Centre hospitalier universitaire de Sherbrooke (CHUS), also known as the CIUSSS de l\u2019Estrie \u2013 CHUS.<\/p>

    He earned his medical degree from the Universit\u00e9 de Sherbrooke in 1983 and completed his specialization in nuclear medicine at the same institution in 1987. In the fall of 1999, he pursued additional training in positron emission tomography (PET) at the Universit\u00e9 de Li\u00e8ge in Belgium.<\/p>

    Dr. Verreault has served as the head of the Nuclear Medicine Department at the CIUSSS de l\u2019Estrie \u2013 CHUS for over 30 years. Under his leadership, the department has achieved significant advancements, particularly in the development and use of innovative tracers for diagnosing various pathologies.<\/p>

    Beyond his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Verreault is actively involved in the community. He regularly participates in theatrical performances organized by CHUS employees to support the CHUS Foundation, often sharing the stage with his daughter, \u00c9lisabeth, a social worker at the same institution. This involvement underscores his commitment to the well-being of his patients and the broader community.<\/p>

    Dr. Verreault is also recognized for his contributions to the development of the Centre d\u2019imagerie mol\u00e9culaire de Sherbrooke (CIMS), a hub that brings together researchers and clinicians.
