MAXIME GOSSELIN MD

Specialist in general internal medicine. 

Dr. Gosselin first earned a bachelor's degree in biomedical sciences at the University of Montreal, in 2010.

After graduating in medicine at that same university in 2014, he began his residency in internal medicine at Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital and from there at the University Hospital Center of Montreal-St. Luc (CHUM-St-Luc). He completed his internal medicine residency in 2019 at McGill University. 

Currently, Dr. Gosselin does the majority of his general internist practice at Verdun Hospital. He also works at the Glen site of the Royal Victoria Hospital at the McGill University Health Centre (CUSM) as a consultant in the emergency room and hospitalization in the Internal Medicine Clinical Teaching Units.

He actively participates in the teaching of the next generation of doctors and is involved with the medical and administrative authorities to improve access to quality care. Dr. Gosselin is in charge of the clinical teaching unit at McGill University and the University of Montreal.  

Internal medicine is the specialty that deals with the diagnosis and treatment of the majority of medical problems affecting the internal organs of adults. It is particularly referred to patients with complex or enigmatic diseases.

Dr. Gosselin has also developed an interest in liver disease, diabetes and blood clots (venous thromboembolism).
